Wii Fit

All righty... I finally got Wii Fit but I find it a bit cumbersome. Does anybody have ideas for a good routine? I just feel like I am doing random things with little payoff.

Oddly enough I found the non Balance Board stuff to be more intense. Running with the Wii Remote in my pocket was almost the end of me.

I found that to be a nice relaxing thing at first... But then I got bored with it. I wish they had some more courses to stare at. Haha. I am still playing it. I seem to get the most sweating from the hula hoop game.

Hey Ploot.
The aerobic stuff is all right, but as with any exercise you have to put yourself into it.
WiiFit is beneficial only in that it gives you an alternate way to look at your goals.
I find doing a balance of stuff is the best.

I have both the Wii Fit and the New EA Sports Active... EASA is a way better workout program as it takes you non-stop through 25-40 minute workout sessions.
Wii Fit is a good product though just doesn't flow between exercises as well as EASA.
My advice is to spend time on the Yoga, Stepping and running activities if your looking to get in shape... Strength training is better at a gym and balance games are more for just having fun.

I really like Kathy Smith, of those fitness videos. We have one on tape and it's pretty intense. Also, I like taking stairs rather than elevators and I don't eat *that* much junk food.
This is my justification for not owning Wii Fit. Also, because it's $100.

I spend a lot of time at the gym... Okay, not A LOT, but a good amount of time. I haven't touched Wii Fit in a while now. WAH!

I've been finding EA Sports Active a more robust tracking tool for fitness activity. I do Karate twice a week for a total of 4.5 hours, and I pretty much balance myself out. Any extra activity just makes me more fit. :)
