In our first year we did a few podcasts with no real frequency or strict publishing schedule. This year, we're trying something different: Every time Jorge, Adam, and I get together and begin talking about games, we'll record the conversation. Depending on how it turns out, it could turn into a podcast. So far we've done at leaast one a month since April, with most months having two podcasts each.

So - what do you think of them?

Overall, not too bad, but some structuring would definitely help. Even a teaser at the front akin to "Today on the podcast, (game teaser #1), (game teaser #2), and (oddball tangent teaser). But first..." would give the listener some frame of reference as to what they're about to listen to.

Clear stings between each segment would be a nice touch as well. Sure, it's funny to hear you guys ramble off in eight directions, but knowing when that's over each time is a great mental refresher. "OK, that topic's over; funny! Now time to reset, ready for the next game/topic..."

Don't change the funny, though; the funny is definitely funny! :)

I think what Rituro means is that we need to make fun of him a lot more often.

Am I the only one reading that?

It seems pretty clear to me!

Well, I didn't want to be too overt about it, but yeah. Pretty much.

Thanks for the feedback, Rituro!

We'll be integrating more structured segments into the podcast starting with this next one. I think this has been gradually happening anyway, but I definitely agree that more structure would be a benefit. This will also allow for things like more detailed show notes, etc. in the post that goes along with the podcast. Episode 10 looks like it will be a lot of fun to put together, and I hope it can be a three-person event.
