We have been sent a few copies of the Street Fighter IV soundtrack to give away. Three copies of the two-disc album are up for grabs. If you want a copy you're going to have to be fast, and you'll also have to be good at Street Fighter IV.

THE LINE STARTS HERE

In arcades of the past, people wanting to play popular fighting games would put their quarters up against the screen. As a player was defeated, the person whose quarter was up next would get a turn at besting the current champ. Consider this message thread as the screen, and consider your replies to this message your quarters.

In order to win a copy of the Street Fighter IV soundtrack, you will have to beat either me or Peter at the game. This is not going to be easy.

Here are the details:

IF YOU HAVE THE XBOX 360 VERSION OF THE GAME: After putting your quarter up, and if any copies of the soundtrack remain, I will direct message you over this forum with my Xbox 360 Gamertag. You will challenge me over Xbox LIVE to a Street Fighter IV match within 24 hours of receiving my Gamertag information. Alternatively, we can set a time to play provided it is within 48 hours of receiving my Gamertag info. You will have to defeat me in a match (win two rounds out of three) and you will have to finish one of those rounds with a flashy background move (using either a Super Combo or Ultra Combo attack to defeat me). If you can do this, you will win a copy of the soundtrack.

IF YOU HAVE THE PLAYSTATION 3 VERSION OF THE GAME: After putting your quarter up, and if any copies of the soundtrack remain, I will direct message you over this forum with Peter's PSN ID. You will challenge him over PSN to a Street Fighter IV match within 24 hours of receiving his PSN information. You will have to defeat him in a match (win two rounds out of three). If you can do this, you will win a copy of the soundtrack.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

You must have currently reside in either Canada or the US to be eligible for the prize.
You will get ONE chance to win the soundtrack, so practice your game before you challenge us. If you challenge either of us and lose, your chance is up and we'll contact the next person who has their quarter up.

The first three people to reply to this thread will receive a direct message from me with additional details regarding the next step of the contest. This contest will continue until all three soundtracks have been awarded. If the challengers list dries up, we will start again with the person who put up the first quarter.

There is no need to keep replying to this thread if you have already entered the contest - but feel free to chat about it in another thread.

GOOD LUCK, AND MAY THE BEST FIGHTERS WIN.

How about we actually meet face to face and have a real street fight?

All right if there's no challengers by midnight I'm closing the contest and coming up with something else. Executive decision!

I've beaten Peter a few times.

I think my reputation as being completely amazing in this game is hilarious. Seriously, anyone could beat me at it, except Jorge.

Contest closed! You all lose because you never tried. New tactics are called for.
