I've heard so much about these games, are they really terrific? I'm so curious about this! I don't have a puzzle game yet for my PS3 so this might fit the bill, was considering Trash Panic or Critter Crunch as well.
Doesn't seem like there's a price for the game listed here...

I didn't think that I would like Peggle when I heard everyone talking about it when it first came around, but after playing on a friends PC I had to get it for my iTouch. When my wife tried it for the first time she ended up playing for 3 hours and she only stopped because she had completely drained the battery. She went out a week later and bought it for her DS. The price will be $9.99 for Peggle, and $4.99 for the Peggle Nights.

Awesome, thanks for the info, IcemanFTW. I have a few bucks left on my PSN wallet, just might pick up Peggle! Either that or save it till Uncharted 2 DLC comes out.

I am trying to avoid buying this.
I have suppressed my Impulse Buy Demon by getting Critter Crunch instead.
I own all the Peggles on Steam anyway.

Well, I just grabbed Peggle! There is just something instantly appealing about this game. I just wanted to quickly check it out but I found myself sucked into a world of googly eyed unicorns, rainbows and pleasing sound effects. That there is online play, local multiplayer, replays and youtube uploading is all extra helpings of awesome-sauce! Here is my first peggle clip! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWc10AgKwWk

That's the problem with Peggle, you sit down to only play for 10-15 minutes and the next thing you know you've been playing for 3 hours. My wife is driving herself crazy by trying to complete all of the challenges.

Use that time to steal money from her purse to buy more games!

So peggle has started a minor revolution in my gaming circle of friends. We usually get together and play round after round of Street Fighter, but now it seems like Peggle is the game du jour - and in fact we treat both games in the same way. We have our own favorite characters, some are deemed "cheap", particularly Master Hu and his Zen Shot, and others are just "bottom tier" like Jimmy Lightning.
I don't have Nights yet - but yeah, Peggle is now definitely part of the conversation, these days!

People all over seem to be going mad for Peggle. I played it out a while ago, I think. I turn it on once in a while, but it doesn't hold the allure that it used to - at least, for me.

I'm jumping on the Peggle bandwagon comparatively late, and since I introduced it to my gaming circle, we're all behind the times. But you're right, I play it once in awhile and usually when friends come over. Still - I feel like it's such a good game with a timeless quality to it, casual as it may be, that I think it's right up there with something like Dr. Mario, Bubble Bobble or Tetris in terms of puzzler classics .
