Hey! Joe and Mac weren't neanderthals! They were cave dudes. The bad guys were the neanderthal nerds! Haha, I remember NEEDING that game because I thought the graphics were so good. I beat it so many times.

What about those QBASIC games that came with later DOS installations? Nibbles and Gorilla were awesome.

Digger? Anyone? Digger?
And Gorilla? Always awesome to edit the code in that game.

Jorge, don't make Rituro cry like that.
Actually I didn't know those games were on my computer for the longest time. DOS installs didn't always have the most comprehensive documentation.

Aw, come on, now, DOS was the era of gaming gems. X-COM remains my favourite game of all time, and let's not forget such stalwarts as WarCraft II, Descent, DOOM, Transport Tycoon, One Must Fall 2049, Theme Park, Syndicate...
...excuse me, I need to fire up DOSBOX for the next three hours.

It's not the gaming that was the issue. It was the configuration of memory to get some of those games to run. ;)

Speak not of the era of customized boot disks for certain games. *shudder*

Ah, boot disks. I remember being really worried when I "broke" my computer after it wouldn't boot up after SHIFT-booting to play DOOM.
