I heard it's going to have Toy Story graphics!
My poor PS2 is dying. :( And I still love it so.

Have you all heard it actually plays DVDs?! How convenient is that?
I'm amazed my PS2 is still going strong since I bought it back in 2001. They just don't build consoles like they used to :P

Thankfully I've never had a console crap out on me. I can only imagine how horrible it must me. I did, however, lose lots of SEGA Master System controllers to buttons not working.

I adore my PS2 and it's great that the system even in it's twilight years is still being supported.
I don't think I'll ever get around to playing all the games I would like to for the PS2, God Hand, Yakuza 2, Okami and others may have passed me by as I turn my attention towards other systems. However, it's pretty cool knowing that the old girl has a huge library that I can dip into if I ever feel like coming back to it.

Definitely. The PS2 probably has a good year left in it as far as new titles is concerned. In a way this is a bad thing because it seems that companies making games for all systems just port the PS2 version to Wii even though the Wii is capable of more, graphics-wise.
Catch 22 I guess. Practically everyone has a PS2. I know I would never get rid of mine.

maybe those developers will be freed from their PS2-port crutch (when the PS2 finally kicks the bucket) and start to really explore what the Wii can do.
I can see Atlus pumping out a few more games that might grab my attention before the end. The last PS2 game(s) I played was Persona 3/4 which I loved.

I just discovered today that my PS2 can magically transform toast into croutons. Let's see XBox 360 or Wii do that!!
