I need to clone myself.

Yeah I don't know how I'm going to find the time to play all of the games that have just come out or are coming out soon.

Thankfully I did finished Uncharted 2 (and found all 101 of the treasures), but I still want to play through it again to try and get my platinum trophy.  I will probably be picking up Modern Warfare 2 and the God of War collection, plus I want to play Ratchet & Clank: ACIT and I still haven't played Batman.

And now my wife has been checking out New Super Mario Bros for the Wii, but she's still up in the air on whether to buy a Wii just for that game.  So she's been looking at other Wii games that she might want to play.  Any suggestions?  It should be noted that she doesn't really like 3-D games.  She loves all of the Mario games, with the exception of Mario 64.  She's also into puzzle games like Professor Layton and I and was one of the few people who finished Henry Hatsworth.

With all the MW2 hooplah over lack of dedicated servers and whatnot, will that be changing anyone's plan on buying it?

IcemanFTW : If you both liked Professor Layton, you might also like Monkey Island and the Sam and Max games for the Wii. They aren't as focused on puzzles but they do have the same kind of adventure game feel.

Rituro: I'll say that I'm sitting on the fence about it. There's a lot of talk swirling around it since it's such a big game, both good and bad, it might be best, for me at least, if I just wait till dust settles and people have some time to sit and live with the game.

Thanks for the tip rey-o, I'll have to look into them.

I'm looking forward to MW2.  I Loved COD4.

However, I'm not crazy-excited about it (You won't catch me waiting in line at midnight).

In any case, these days:

- Uncharted 2
- DJ Hero
- Critter Crunch
- Cities XL
- Torchlight
- Indiana Jones: Staff of Kings

Yeah I've never wanted a game or game console bad enough to line-up in advance.  But enough people did that they will continue to do midnight launches.  There was something ridiculous like 60,000+ people online playing MW2 within a hour of the midnight launch.

YES and now Uncharted 2 online has had a fairly noticeable drop in online players. Last I checked it was about 8400? They've all migrated to MW2, I feel like I should keep up with the herd...

I cringe when I think about what Killzone 2's numbers are like, now in the face of the MW2 juggernaut... just checked, as of right now, 287 players logged in, yikes!

I guess you could call that "What's everyone *not* playing?"

Finished a few games recently:

* Uncharted 2 Among Thieves. What a great game. Much better than Drake's Fortune. Can't wait for a third game.

* Ratchet And Clank A Crack In Time. Awesome game by the way. My favorite part of the game? The Clank time puzzles, like OMG they were so awesome to solve. Ratchet's arsenal is also deserving of some praise, like: Rift Inducer 5000, Sonic Eruptor, Chimp-o-Matic, RYNO V, Mr. Zurkon.

I've also played some Pinball Hall Of Fame The William's Collection for PS3, but then again I'm one of the few that enjoy pinball games.

Right now I mostly just play Modern Warfare 2. It's an awesome game, and aside from having issues with the trophies, and inviting friends into a party, I think that it will probably receive the game of the year award from many online/offline publications. Although I could see Uncharted 2 winning some of those awards too.

Since I'm on such a Uncharted 2 high, I went back to play the original ( I finished it already on normal sometime last summer). This time on hard and with an eye to complete my trophies/medals. I finished it up this morning, although sadly, still missing 5 treasures and a handful of medals. I'll get around to those someday but I'm not in a rush.

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune holds up pretty well even now. Graphically the game holds it's own even amongst it's contemporaries, but of course Uncharted 2 is just out of this world. Mechanically, the controls are similar, but generally U2 seems to smooth everything out.

If you're new to the series and you want to just jump into the Uncharted 2, I think it's safe to do that. Afterwords if you enjoyed the game and want to see where it came from, go ahead and pick up Drake's Fortune. It's still tons of fun.

The problem with going from Uncharted 2 back to Uncharted is the stealth takedown strategy.

And that it takes way too bullets to take a guy out.  I'm glad that they fixed that in the 2nd one.

I found myself going for nutshots like, all the time, in Uncharted 2. It doesn't do extra damage or anything, but somehow I found it easier!?!?
