How is Battlefield 1943?

I'm playing Punch-Out!! for Wii plus a bunch of stuff for Xbox 360. Ghostbusters sadly got bumped by games I'm reviewing.

How is Battlefield 1943?

I think it's a good game that should have been priced at $10 or less.
Why? Because it has only one mode, 3 classes with no extra weapons to choose from, 3 maps with the forth map to be unlocked soon by the PS3 community.
It plays like Battlefield Bad Company, but you don't have much choice in weapons because they are set to the 3 classes.
I have fun playing it because most of the time I play it together with a friend of mine.
Just try the demo. It should give you a general idea of what to expect.

Madworld looks really fun, and eventually I'm going to replay Uncharted on hard closer to the release of the sequel.

On my end, I've been dabbling in a little Pokemon Diamond again, this time around trying to fill out my Pokedex a bit more. I didn't think I'd be getting back into it, but I'm pretty excited about Heart Gold/Soul Silver and this is kind of a warm up.

Madworld will make your hands hurt.  It's one of those guilty pleasure games that you're ashamed to admit that you like, but then you twitch and say how much you love it.

A question about Madworld for you - Along with hurting your hands, is there any issue with eyestrain? From what I've seen, the black and white visuals makes the game lack a certain level of visual depth, or hierarchy, although I imagine is mitigated when the game is in motion.

I would say playing any game will hurt your eyes eventually.

For me, Madworld does take some time to acclimatize to.  However, once you do it's all good.  Besides, if you're worried about black & white so much, just kill more people.  Blood is the great equalizer.

Caliban: Enjoy Bioshock! I played it around winter time and enjoyed it immensely. I'm cautiously optimistic about the sequel, though.

Recently I've been firing up my Street Fighter IV, mostly because of the amazing EVO tournament that went down in Vegas. I was really inspired by the high level of play and the electric atmosphere. Totally reminded me of why I love this game so much.

I am indeed enjoying Bioshock thus far. Big Daddies are a pain.

I'm still trying fighting on the streets of Street Fighter IV. Slowing down somewhat since I've been seriously considering getting a Madcatz TE Stick in the next few weeks. So for the sake of my thumbs I'm easing up on the game a bit.

Other than that it's dual detective time for me, trying to polish off the few remaining extra puzzles in the first Professor Layton, although I don't know if I can handle it. My brain feels exhausted after too much puzzling. The other detective I've been running with is Batman in his latest. So far, it's super radical to the max.
