Hey, I said that, not Cynthe! Lousy stinkin' piece of...

Hey I resemble that remark! My bad, it's been corrected.

The Hangover reminds me of Very Bad Things and also another movie that I can't remember the name of.

Bachelor Party Vegas? :P

Moon looks interesting.

Wow... Moon does indeed look interesting. Nice one Shaun, I will be lining up for that. The trailer made me want to re-watch both 2001 and Event Horizon. At the same time.

@Shatton "@Reay - Have you seen this: http://brothersbloom.tumblr.com/
Next film from the director of "Brick"

No, I hadn't seen that blog, but will definitely check it out.

Also: I heard it's the next film from the director of Brick.  :)

I'll be seeing Drag Me To Hell next week.  I didn't know until recently that it's a Sam Raimi movie, getting back to horror, so now I basically can't not see it.

Gonna be sweet.

Yeah Drag Me To Hell - Looks like it was ripped right off from the show Supernatural which, if you like horror, you should watch.

> Supernatural

Isn't that the show with the kinda hokey vampire and werewolf, and they're brothers, or something, and they fight off a new evyl each week?  Haven't seen a lot of it, but what I've seen looks a bit (unintentionally?) campy.  To be fair, I haven't given it a solid look.  Might blow me away.

Also: The Drag Me To Hell viewing is gonna have to be delayed.  I got my Fridays mixed up and thought it was coming out TOMORROW.  Such isn't the case, which makes watching it early next week an issue, which makes me sad.

Bleh.

Yeah that totally isn't what Supernatural is about. There are two brothers who are demon hunters and they come across classic monsters, etc. However, the show isn't cheesy at all. They actually crack jokes about the effed up situations they find themselves in and make pop cultural references to them as well. I think you'd really dig it. Did you like the X-Files? It's like that, only it sticks to its mythology and overarching themes much closer.

Interesting.  I'll have to check it out.  Is it something you have on disc, or did it not make the cut due to it not being animated?  :)

BC101 - Awesome. I was supposed to see it this morning but plans didn't go through.

Reay - I don't have Supernatural, but now I'm thinking if some of my tax return shouldn't go towards it.

Saw Terminator last night, and got to say, I left somewhat disappointed.
I'll do a full review on my site, but suffice to say that it was certainly stronger as an action film than as a Terminator story meant to bring the series full circle.
Could've been - and by all rights should've been - better.
And seriously, what's with Christian Bale's sometime speech impediment?  It made both Jackie and me think of that YouTube video where the Joker can't understand what Batman's saying.

@wolfkin Yeah, you really don't want to see this movie.  Even more now.  :)

@Reay - If they're really your friends, I think they'll tie a whole mess of balloons to the theatre and bring that sucker to you at work. At least my friends would :P

Finally saw Terminator Salvation and really enjoyed it. The movie's got a lot of great action in it and some crazy camerawork, too! Acting is decent. I pretty much agree with everything Reay stated in his review. The logic holes are astounding if you think about them, but this is one thing Terminator movies have asked us to not to whatsoever. Think about it: Upon sending one Terminator back in time to kill Sarah Connor, the would immediately know it didn't work. Why not try again, immediately? How about sending a whole bunch back at once?

See what I mean?

Marcus was really cool in the movie, and Kyle Reese evoked memories of a less pain-in-the-ass Furlong-played John Connor.

As good as it was, though, I saw the twist coming up right from the first time we see Marcus meet Kyle.

I heard that in the next movie (which, yes, they are actually contemplating), Kyle Reese goes back in time and founds a company using his last name, and it makes AMAZING products for the rest of history.
