Sequels galore from THQ

It was recently announced by THQ that they are planning sequels to both Darksiders and Red Faction.  I've played the Red Faction demo and enjoyed it, I just haven't gotten around to picking up a copy.  And Darksiders is a game that I keep hearing great things about so I might have to get a copy of that as well.

THQ also announced that they will be making Saints Row 3 (no real surprise there) and a sequel to de Blob.

I haven't played Darksiders or Red Faction, but I'm all in favor of sequels. We wouldn't have Assassin's Creed 2 or Uncharted 2 or Street Fighter II otherwise, so bring it on!

Hells yeah. Sequels are when things usually get really good. Gears of War II is incredible, Mortal Kombat II is the 2D pinnacle of that series, and Empire Strikes Back is pretty rad, too.

Assassin's Creed was great.
But Assassin's Creed 2 is out of this world.
