1  Gaming / All Platforms / Favorite MJ moments in games on: June 28, 2009, 09:42:34 AM
So with the recent demise of Michael Jackson I can't help but want to play Space Channel 5 to see his cameo again. Space Michael was one of the most random game moments I have encountered. Also in Plants vs. Zombies when the zombies pop up and do the dance from thriller.

Anyone have their own memories or share the same?

Right now I'm spending some time with the Wii, so Smash Bros. Brawl and Zack and Wiki.
I'm also still playing Plants vs. Zombies... It will never end!

At home, WipEout for sure and I also enjoy some Mariokart (although I know it's borderline). No particular system really I just like the series'.

As for the arcade... I don't have one anywhere nearby *cries*

I also forgot to mention, when I was at Star Trek I saw the trailer for G.I. Joe... and until the title came up I had no idea what movie it could possibly be for. When it said G.I. Joe I thought wtf? So I don't know if that sets it up to succeed or not.

I still haven't seen the Watchmen flick. I basically just hate going to the movies because it's such a big ordeal (or I just make it out to be one). It's also entirely possible that I'm just a grump.

Well Shaun I saw the Watchmen movie knowing nothing about it and I've been frothing to read it ever since! I thought it was a really great movie... as far as it's clarity with the graphic novel I can't say, but I know as a standalone it was amazing. And not difficult to follow at all which I heard was a major complaint. Visually stunning and compelling, and I thought the actors chosen to play the characters was spot on.
Also... I don't think you're a grump. Another problem with movies in the theater is that they are so expensive!

The wife and I saw it and quite liked it.
It nicely rinsed out our mouths from the taste that Wolverine left.  :)

Oh no? Wolverine really wasn't good. I'll probably still end up seeing it because of curiosity. The feedback I've heard from it is "don't expect to see a X-men movie" it's something completely other.

Oooooooooo intriguing. I don't have it... But after that offer I'm wishing I did.

I just got home from Star Trek and I really liked it a lot! Confusions and plot holes associated with time travel aside (which can never really be avoided) I thought it was really well done!
I'm just wondering who else has seen it and what you thought.

On a side note Terminator Salvation looks AMAZING and any movie that uses one of my favorite Nine Inch Nails songs in the trailer is ok by me.
