I've also recently started playing this. Loving it so far, but have many games to play as well. It's a nice problem to have :)

Happy belated birthday, Rey-O!

I've been playing Tatsunoko vs. Capcom quite a bit. I'm still not great at it, but I am having a lot of fun.

Hells yeah. Sequels are when things usually get really good. Gears of War II is incredible, Mortal Kombat II is the 2D pinnacle of that series, and Empire Strikes Back is pretty rad, too.

Thanks for listening - and for giving the feedback. I thought the podcast was a total mess while we were recording it, in terms of structure, but this time we really captured an actual conversation between the three of us. On a technical note - I edited nothing out this time. Usually I cut some dead air or whatever to keep things at a respectable length but yeah - this was a breeze to edit (meaning I just added the music, pretty much).

We totally forgot how to make one of these things and ended up rambling on and on, about Torchlight mostly. Hit up http://torontothumbs.com/podcast to take a listen!

btw do you guys play with a controller or an arcade stick? I've mostly played SF's and Fighting games at home, with controllers. I'm thinking about taking the next step and upgrading. Whenever my friend comes over, he uses a Hori Fight Stick and I'm pretty terrible with it, but I can tell that given a little practice, my overall game would improve.

The FightSticks are incredible. I love my Mad Catz one, even though it is the more affordable variety/option. Highly recommended.

Sequels - Because people want more of the stuff they know they love!

Nice!

I am loving No More Heroes 2. It's so much better than the first one.

I'm out of practice, man! That was a good match though.

Hahahahaha.

I have Omega Supreme but never got Trypticon. I do, however, have a few books that have lots of photos of all the toys.

It looks a bit like it'll be a Gear of War style of game. But yeah, I'm super stoked about it as well. Dude, Omega Supreme!

I agree - The Borg were totally terrifying in their earlier appearances. Realistically there would be no way of actually stopping them, too. So the whole Voyager connection (and series, for that matter) was pretty annoying to me.
14  Gaming / All Platforms / Re: Whats everyone playing? on: January 18, 2010, 11:00:17 PM
Can you choose to be Borg and then just have someone else play the game for you? Or, is there a Borg option where every single Borg player's keystrokes are added together and divided in real time to determine the movement of the collective? Because that shit would be unnecessarily complicated yet also hilarious.

Looks neat! I'll check this out soon.
