it's almost time for transformers 2 and last night while watching the trailer for G.I. Joe the subject of transformers 3 came up. This is how you know trilogies have gotten out of control. My nieces, and nephews who has no internet connection at home think there will be a third movie just because there's a second. Remember when sequels were just sequels and not bridge movies to the trilogy. Sadly the only movie I can think of right now is MIB.
for all the blockbusternesss of this summer I can't say there's too much I'm looking forwards to. Transformers looks great but as a movie I thought the first one was pretty darn bad and I don't expect much better for the 2nd. My nephews however .. well let's just say I'll be in the opening night group. Terminator was a complete story that I feel was unnecessarily revitalized so while I admit it looks the best of the summer blockbusters I'll probably pass.
Up. looks like my only choice this summer. I keep expecting to get worn out of watching Pixar movies but after Wall-E I'm good to go on 2-3 more. To be fair since i don't have TV and I've been lazy to catch up on Previews I'm only peripherally aware of what's coming out. I just saw the Spirit in stores and I didn't realize it came out in theatres already.
